Got Questions?
Here's some of our most Frequently Asked Questions:
Diapers
Are your diapers Machine Washable?
- Absolutely!
What's the difference between Vinnie Bumz & Washable Wonder E.C.O.
- The VNBZ is made from premium diaper quality materials. It will withstand more than one child and may be resold. The Washable Wonder E.C.O., however is a low cost alternative geared at people who need low cost diapers, but aren't keen on used diapers. It's also a wonderful option for low cost start-up for 'sposie parents and a great option for personalized and embellished items.
Basic Use Instructions -
Lay the baby down and pull the sewn in soaker (looks like a tennis shoe tongue) up and position it into place for your baby. Cover with the front pannel. Adjust the fit 2 ways - 1 by attaching the front face to the "wings" by the built-in laundry tabs - 2 by using the cross-over closure tabs to customize a perfect fit for yout baby.
In the event of a wet diaper - you can check by running your finger under the sewn in soaker. Fold over tabs onto laundry tabs, toss into diaper pail until wash day.
In the event of a solid dirty - shake out the mess into the toilet, fold down tabs onto laundry tabs, toss into diaper pail until wash day.
In the event of a soft or messy diaper - bummer. You can either pre-wash/pre-soak the mess out in the machine or find another method of hosing the mess off. If you're scared of introducing boo-boo into your machine, you may be interested in running an empty load with a cup of vinegar afterwards.
Wash & Care
- Store dry in a container with a lid.
- Wash with normal baby laundry - avoid detergents with softeners, enzymes, bleaches, or dyes. Most "free and clear" detergents are suitable, though I prefer Original Dawn (not Ultra), as it strips and removes build-up. For a list of approved detergents, please visit www.diaperjungle.com .
NEVER EVER EVER USE FABRIC SOFTENER!!!!
It will clog the diaper and the diaper will not work.
- Machine Dry on Medium (permanent press) for best appearance. And (believe it or not) fastest drying time!
Accessories
Fleecies
Q. Do all Diapers need a Fleecie?
A. NO. None of my diapers (Vinnie Bumz or WWECO) need a fleecie. In addition, any cloth diaper that already has some form of built in liner or stay dry barrier does not need a liner. (Pockets generally don't need liners)
Cloth Wipes
Q. Can I really stop using disposable wipes?
A. YES, and maybe you should! Not only will it reduce waste and chemicals that your baby is exposed to, but it will also make cloth diapering and mess removal easier - no need to fish out and toss the disposable wipe and any textured material (I prefer terry cloth) will remove messes MUCH easier than paper.
Many parents replace disposable wipes with cloth wipes. They can be washed AND DRIED along with the diapers and either stored dry or placed in a wipes container or warmer with a little water. We now offer an awesome product called "Punkin' Booty Bits" that works as a wipes solution for easier mess removal.
When out and about, your old peri bottle makes a great wetting device :)
Punkin' Booty Bits
Q. Do I need a wipes solution?
A. No one "Needs" it - but I love mine! Bits are simple to use and store and they give your wipes a nice boost of cleaning agent - some even smell amazing!
PBB are available in a wide variety of options - from unscented for sensitive babies, to yummy pumpkin, cucumber melon, lavendar and many others! Check back soon for Jenn's new foaming formula!

Ring Slings
Q. Why Chose a Ring Sling?
A. Many nursing mothers love the vanity panel that the "Tail" of the sling offers. It is the most easily adjustable carrier that we offer - Great for more than 1 person to use and also ideal if you anticipate that you will be losing or gaining weight. Many Plus sized (or Fluffy) parents love this option as the wide fan offers a better distribution of the weight. Plus, they're really pretty!

Q. What kind of rings do you use?
A. My rings are manufactured specifically for baby wearing. They are all either Nylon or Aluminum and are manufactured seamlessly to ensure that they are strong enough to hold tight while you're packing precions cargo. (Most commonly available rings are NOT SAFE for baby wearing, so if you chose to make your own carrier, please do not use a department store or fabric store notion, you may injure your child.)
